Beers similar to Nieuw Ligt
hopIQ found 10 beers that share Nieuw Ligt's malty and dark-fruity character. Dried fruit, burnt sugar and spices fill this dark barley wine, built on malt, hops and candi sugar. The 10% ABV comes wrapped in a velvety softness, and although this is one of the hoppiest beers De Hemel makes, the spiced flavour hides most of the bitterness. A beer for sipping slowly.
