The nose leads with resinous pine and citrus—bright notes of grapefruit and tangerine from the Cascade dry hop and Amarillo, layered with the woody character of Chinook and Warrior. Beneath the hop intensity lies a subtle toasted malt foundation, with hints of biscuit providing gentle sweetness without obscuring the aromatic profile.

The palate enters bold and assertive, with immediate resinous bitterness and assertive hop flavors that command the mid-palate. The doubled malt bill—2-Row, Crystal 24, and Biscuit—creates a fuller body and subtle bready sweetness that balances the 88 IBU without surrendering to it. The finish builds toward a dry, lingering bitterness that extends well past the swallow, with residual citrus and pine notes persisting throughout.
