Rip Cord presents a pale golden hue with excellent clarity and bright transparency. The head is dense and persistent, clinging to the glass with fine lacing that marks each sip. Carbonation is lively and well-integrated, giving the beer an energetic visual presence.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with assertive pine and resin from West Coast hops, layered over bright citrus and subtle tropical fruit notes. A robust malt backbone emerges underneath, providing warm grain and light caramel undertones that anchor the volatile hop aromatics without overshadowing them.

◐ Geschmack

Entry is full-bodied and bold, with immediate hop bitterness that is well-drawn and assertive rather than harsh. Mid-palate develops tropical and citrus character from the hops, supported by a substantial malt spine that prevents the 9% ABV from becoming unbalanced. The finish is dry and lingering, with resinous bitterness that closes cleanly.

The aftertaste is long and dry, with persistent resinous hop bitterness that fades gradually. A slight warming from the alcohol compounds the finish without causing any harshness or volatility.
