Planier Equinox presents a pale golden hue with excellent clarity and bright translucence. The head forms fine white foam with notable lacing that clings to the glass walls, indicating good malt structure and carbonation retention. The carbonation appears well-integrated, producing a steady stream of fine bubbles.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with vibrant Equinox hop character, delivering pronounced tropical citrus notes—grapefruit and mandarin with subtle stone fruit undertones. A light floral complexity emerges beneath the citrus, while clean fermentation character keeps the profile sharp and transparent. The aroma remains focused and aromatic without any harsh green qualities.

◐ Geschmack

Entry is crisp and refreshing, with a light, supportive malt foundation allowing the single Equinox hop to dominate. Mid-palate develops citrus bitterness—grapefruit pith and dry orange zest—balanced by minimal residual sweetness. The bitterness builds gradually and remains integrated rather than sharp, finishing with a hoppy, slightly resinous character.

The finish extends moderately long, with lingering hoppy bitterness and citrus zest that gradually fades. Aftertaste remains dry and refreshing, with no cloying sweetness or harsh alcohol warmth.

Gut gekühlt servieren. Session IPAs sind am besten kalt — der niedrigere Alkohol bedeutet weniger Wärme zur Balance der Hopfen.
