◎ Aussehen

Neck Oil presents an ultra-pale, nearly colorless body with excellent clarity and bright luminosity. The head forms quickly with fine, persistent bubbles that cling to the glass in delicate lacing. Carbonation is crisp and lively, evident in steady streams of small bubbles rising through the beer.

◌ Aroma

The nose is dominated by clean, citrus-forward hop character with prominent notes of fresh lemon zest and grapefruit. Supporting the hops is a subtle bready, grainy maltiness that provides gentle backbone without overwhelming the composition. A light herbal and piney quality rounds out the profile, with no yeast-derived esters or phenolics.

◐ Geschmack

Entry is crisp and refreshing, with bright citrus flavors meeting restrained bready maltiness on the palate. The mid-palate reveals tropical fruit notes—subtle stone fruit and slight melon—balanced against a moderate, clean bitterness that builds gradually. The beer finishes dry, with the hop bitterness persisting without harshness, and the overall mouthfeel remains light and sessionable.

◑ Abgang

The finish is clean and relatively short, allowing easy transition to the next sip. Lingering bitterness provides gentle character without astringency, and no cloying sweetness remains.

Gut gekühlt servieren. Session IPAs sind am besten kalt — der niedrigere Alkohol bedeutet weniger Wärme zur Balance der Hopfen.
