Deep chestnut brown with warm mahogany highlights, presenting good clarity with slight translucence when held to light. A dense, tan head forms readily and maintains firm lacing against the glass. Carbonation is moderate and consistent, appropriate for the style's substantial malt profile.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with toasted nuts and roasted grain, grounded in caramel-forward Malz character from the seven-malt bill. Wildflower honey emerges in the mid-range with gentle warmth, while the three hop varieties remain restrained, offering only subtle herbal and floral undertones. No sharp bitterness intrudes on the aromatic profile.

◐ Geschmack

Entry is smooth and full, with nuttiness anchoring the palate alongside bready, toasted grain notes. Honey carries the mid-palate with gentle sweetness and body, while chocolate and dark fruit notes emerge peripherally from the complex Malz selection. Bitterness remains restrained at 28 IBU, allowing the honey and caramel to dominate without becoming cloying.

The finish is warm and lingering, with residual honey sweetness fading into subtle roasted grain and nut character. A light chocolate note persists into the aftertaste without drying the palate.
