◎ Aussehen

Deep amber color with rich mahogany undertones, visibly opaque and inviting. A dense tan head forms and clings to the glass with persistent lacing, indicating proper carbonation and excellent foam stability. The body holds its structure throughout, never turning thin or transparent.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with dark stone fruits—plum and raisin—layered beneath caramel and toasted Malz notes that suggest time in the mash tun. Warmth from the 10% ABV softens the edges, adding a subtle spirituous quality without harshness. Faint vanilla and chocolate undertones emerge on closer inspection, characteristic of Flemish yeast fermentation.

◐ Geschmack

Entry is sweet and malty, with caramel and dark fruit flavors immediately present on the palate. Mid-palate shows a full, velvety body enhanced by subtle roasted and chocolate notes, while the 22 IBU provides gentle restraint rather than aggressive bitterness. The alcohol warmth integrates smoothly, adding complexity without dominating.

The finish is long and warming, with residual sweetness and malt gradually fading into gentle toasted and vanilla impressions. A pleasant alcohol warmth lingers in the throat, inviting another sip.
