◎ Aussehen

Torch Pilsner pours a pale straw yellow, almost colorless at SRM 3.2, with excellent clarity. The head forms bright white and dense, holding with fine Schaumkleiden that track down the glass as carbonation works through the beer. Carbonation is lively and persistent, befitting the style.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with the characteristic spicy, herbal signature of Saaz hops—black pepper and dried herb notes predominate. Beneath the hop profile lies a clean, soft malt base with faint grain sweetness and a whisper of hay. No yeast phenols or esters intrude; the aromatics remain crisp and focused.

◐ Geschmack

The palate enters dry and light, allowing the 35 IBU to express themselves as a refined, spicy bitterness that sits squarely on the tongue without harshness. Mid-palate reveals soft pale malt sweetness and a touch of bread crust, balanced against the noble hop bite. The finish dries progressively, with hop spice lingering into the aftertaste.

The finish is long and dry, with Saaz spice persisting on the palate and fading into a clean, mineral aftertaste. No residual sweetness or heaviness remains.

Gut gekühlt bei 4–6°C für maximale Frische servieren. Ein zu warm serviertes Pilsner verliert seinen charakteristischen Biss.
