◎ Aussehen

Tres Mares presents a warm toasted amber hue, clear and bright with excellent visibility. The head forms a dense cream-coloured collar that settles to a persistent ring, leaving crisp lacing down the glass as you drink. Carbonation is evident but restrained, appropriate to the style.

◌ Aroma

The nose opens with pronounced toasted grain and biscuit character, followed by subtle notes of liquorice and toffee that emerge on closer inspection. A gentle smokiness underlies the malt-forward profile, with hints of chocolate and roasted barley. Noble hop character adds a restrained floral and spicy complexity without dominating the bouquet.

◐ Geschmack

Entry is smooth and malty, with chocolate and nutty notes forming the core of the palate. Mid-palate develops caramel sweetness balanced by the beer's inherent dryness, while roasted barley and biscuit provide structure and depth. Bitterness builds steadily, arriving from Ekuanot, Chinook and Columbus hops in a measured, integrated manner rather than as a sharp attack.

◑ Abgang

The finish is clean and decidedly dry, with lingering bitterness and a subtle roasted edge that persists on the palate. Aftertaste remains malty and slightly smoky, fading gradually without astringency.
