The beer displays the hallmark darkness of Belgian strong dark ales, with a velvety appearance that hints at the complex malts within. The nose opens with enticing dark fruit aromatics—ripe plums and dried cherries—layered beneath warming alcohol and subtle licorice notes. Belgian yeast character provides spicy, phenolic undertones that complement the dark malt base, with hints of vanilla and toasted grain in the background.
