Boardwalk presents a bright golden-amber hue with excellent clarity—a hallmark of West Coast craft. The head is compact and white, leaving distinct lacing as it recedes. Carbonation is lively and well-integrated, producing a fine bead that sustains throughout the pour.

The nose opens with resinous hop intensity—Strata's dank, earthy character mingles with Mosaic's sharp citrus and piney edge. Stone fruit emerges in the mid-register, with Peacharine contributing a distinct peach note that softens the otherwise assertive herbal profile. The overall impression is intensely aromatic yet precisely balanced.

◐ Geschmack

The palate enters dry and crisp, with hop bitterness asserting itself immediately. Mid-palate reveals layers of resin, citrus zest, and tropical stone fruit, anchored by a clean malt backbone that remains understated. The finish drives toward a bone-dry, unrelenting bitterness characteristic of West Coast tradition, with lingering piney and herbal notes.

The finish is persistently dry and bitter, with a long fade dominated by resinous hoppy character and subtle citrus pith. No sweetness remains—this is an uncompromising, cleanly bitter conclusion.
