Founded in 2011 in Formello, north of Rome, by Roberto and Giovanni Faenza (father and son). Started as a beer-firm before opening a dedicated brewery and later renovating to a 25hl brewhouse in 2019. Now operates alongside the Michelin-recognised restaurant Mogano on-site. Birraio dell'Anno Brewery of the Year 2020 and 2022; Giovanni Faenza named Best Brewer 2021; four first-place finishes at Beer of the Year 2022 (Head Space, Black Belt, Kush, Self Examination). Widely regarded as producing some of the world's finest Imperial Stouts.
