Founded in 2009 as a cooperative by four friends after a company downsizing. The name combines Napar (Basque for Navarra) and Bier (German for beer). Discovered internationally by Jeppe Bjergsø of Mikkeller through a bottle exchange. RateBeer Best Brewery in Spain 2016 and 2017. Collaborations with Mikkeller, Nøgne Ø, Lervig, To Øl, Laugar, Beavertown, and Magic Rock. Back In Black (Black IPA) rated 89 on BeerAdvocate. Brewpub in Noáin and bar NaparBCN in Barcelona.
