Lawson's Finest Liquids was founded in 2008 by Sean and Karen Lawson in Warren, Vermont, initially operating as a one-barrel nanobrewery adjacent to their home — with the first beer sold on St. Patrick's Day 2008. After twenty years of homebrewing, Sean Lawson built the operation into one of Vermont's most celebrated craft breweries. The brewery opened a destination taproom and retail space in Waitsfield in 2018, and its flagship Sip of Sunshine IPA, introduced in 2014, is now widely distributed. Lawson's Finest Liquids was named Brewbound's Craft Brewery of the Year for 2023.
