After twenty years of homebrewing, Sean Lawson built the operation into one of Vermont's most celebrated craft breweries. The brewery opened a destination taproom and retail space in Waitsfield in 2018, and its flagship Sip of Sunshine IPA, introduced in 2014, is now widely distributed. Lawson's Finest Liquids was named Brewbound's Craft Brewery of the Year for 2023.
