Kompaan
Kompaan means companion, a friendship of two drinking together: school friends Jasper Langbroek and Jeroen van Ditmarsch founded it in 2012, starting with home experiments using pots and pans. Work on the Binckhorst brewery in The Hague began in 2015 and it opened in 2016 with 35-hectolitre vessels. Production moved to cans at the start of 2021. The Thuishaven brewpub looks through a big window into the working brewery, and barrel-aged projects add the experiments.
