Kaiserdom Specialitäten Brauerei
Kaiserdom Specialitäten Brauerei is a family brewery in Bamberg's Gaustadt district. Its origins go back to 1718, when Michelsberg Abbey allowed innkeeper Georg Morg to set up a brewhouse. The Wörner family has run it since 1910, now in the fourth generation, with Felix Wörner as sole managing director since 2024. The Kaiserdom brand followed Gaustadt's incorporation into Bamberg in 1972. Exports began in 1978 and now reach more than 60 countries, with China as the focus. A new brewhouse with a dealcoholisation plant opened in 2019.
