Bottom-fermented beers such as Pils, Märzen and Export were added later, but the house now concentrates entirely on Kölsch. After heavy war damage the brewery was rebuilt and ran its first post-war brew in 1945. Growing volumes led to a move to a larger, modern site in Köln-Rodenkirchen in 1996. Reissdorf remains an independent, family-owned private brewery and added the unfiltered Dröppche in 2025.
