Glückauf-Brauerei
Richard Hübsch founded the brewery in 1880 on the grounds of a former hosiery factory in Gersdorf, at the foot of the Ore Mountains, and began with six people brewing top-fermented beer. It became a GmbH in 1906 and part of a state beverage combine in 1968; since 1 July 1990 it has brewed to the German purity law, and Glückauf-Brauerei GmbH Gersdorf was founded on 1 January 1991. Today the private brewery is run by Astrid Peiker-Holzmüller.

How we measure this
Two thresholds are at work here:
- The signature list shows notes that recur in at least 6% of this brewery's beers. A low bar — enough to flag a pattern, not high enough to call it an exclusive trait.
- The peer comparison below shows only notes where this brewery's coverage differs from similar breweries by at least 20 percentage points. A higher bar — enough to call a real difference, not a nudge.
A note can appear on the signature list without appearing in the peer comparison: it recurs here, but similar breweries do the same thing.
