Founded in 2010 on the foothills of Mount Etna in Catania province — an older, more baroque and dusty affair compared to newer Sicilian breweries. Brews with pure Etna spring water that flows through ancient basaltic lava rock, capturing the strange minerality that wine producers have historically valued in the volcanic terroir of the Etna DOC zone. Produces ales and lagers that are distinctive for their mineral character, unlike anything produced elsewhere in Italy.
