◎ Appearance

Deep amber hue with excellent clarity and a warm, inviting glow. The head forms with vigor and clings to the glass in a fine, persistent lace that tracks the swallow. Carbonation appears moderate and well-integrated, with a steady stream of fine bubbles rising through the body.

◌ Aroma

The nose opens with pronounced caramel and toffee notes layered over a toasted bread-crust character from the darker malts. Behind this sweetness sits a subtle dark stone fruit presence—plum and raisin tones—that prevents the bouquet from cloying. A clean, resinous hop backdrop emerges with gentle peppery spice, framing the entire profile without dominating.

◐ Taste

The palate opens soft and vollmundig with caramel and toffee at the fore, then transitions into dark fruit and toasted malt complexity at the mid-point. A clean hop bitterness arrives with purpose in the middle phase, carrying a faintly peppery and resinous edge that cuts through the malt sweetness without harshness. The beer maintains excellent balance—the bitterness lifts without dominating, and the malt body remains substantial yet refined.

◑ Finish

The swallow finishes almost dry, shedding the initial sweetness cleanly. Caramel and dark fruit notes linger gently rather than clinging, fading on a subtle resinous hop tone that leaves the palate refreshed and ready for the next sip.
