The nose opens with dark fruit notes—raisins and plums—layered beneath toasted malt and a subtle licorice character. Coffee and roasted grain emerge in the mid-palate aroma, with hints of dark chocolate adding depth and complexity without sharpness.

Entry is smooth and warming, with caramel sweetness balanced against a restrained bitterness of 35 IBU. The mid-palate carries chocolate and roasted grain through to a full, malty body; alcohol warmth is present but well-controlled, adding to the overall richness rather than burning.

A lengthy, complex finish that lingers with echoes of dried fruit, toasted malt, and a whisper of licorice. The aftertaste is slightly warming and thoroughly dry, leaving the palate with a sophisticated, sustained impression.
