Starobrno Bitr

Czech Republic·Dry-Hopped Lager
Tap to rate

An extra-bitter lager hopped four times, with a strong hop aroma, a bright golden colour and a hop aftertaste. Three Czech hop varieties go in, among them Žatecký poloraný červeňák, and at the end the beer is dry-hopped by hand, cold. It matures in the historic cellars below the Žlutý kopec hill. Bitr was brewed on request for the brewery's 150th anniversary, and selected pubs also get an unfiltered version.
