Sherman
Sherman is a strong, light golden pale ale loaded with American hops. The brewery made it in remembrance of the GIs who landed at Torcross and of the local people moved out for Operation Tiger, the rehearsal for D-Day; the name points to the tank. The aroma brings tropical fruit and citrus, and at 6.4% the beer is fruity and forceful. Sold on cask, in keg and in bottle, it has won four medals at the SIBA South West regional awards, including gold for the cask version in 2025.
