Philter Juicy Pale

◎ Appearance

A bright golden-amber body with excellent clarity and moderate carbonation. The head forms with good initial retention and leaves a delicate lacing on the glass as it recedes. The overall presentation strikes a balanced middle ground between pale and amber ale conventions.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with stone fruit and grapefruit character from the double dry-hopping of Citra, layered atop the herbal and citrus notes from Talus and Idaho cryo hops. A subtle wild berry undertone adds depth without dominating the profile. The malt base remains restrained, allowing the hop complexity to occupy the foreground.

◐ Taste

Entry is clean and juicy with immediate citrus and fruit-forward character. The mid-palate develops a fuller body than standard pale ales, with stone fruit and berry notes supported by controlled bitterness at 35 IBU. The finish maintains balance—the fruit remains bright and defined rather than tipping into sweetness, while the restrained bitterness provides structure without astringency.

◑ Finish

The finish is crisp and refreshing with lingering citrus and subtle berry notes. Bitterness fades gracefully, leaving a clean, quenching aftertaste that invites another sip.

Cold enough to sharpen the hop aroma without numbing the palate. Around 7–9°C keeps the citrus and pine vivid without losing bitterness definition.
