🌍 United States · Imperial IPA · One of 26 Imperial IPAs in hopIQ

The winter edition of Hop Bullet, on sale from January to March, puts the Magnum hop at the centre of an imperial IPA and backs it with Eureka, Helios and Idaho 7. Crystal malt, oats and two kinds of wheat give a round, slightly caramel base. Grapefruit, orange rind and pine resin lead, with an orange-candy sweetness and a dank note underneath, and the finish turns pithy, bitter and warming from the alcohol.
