Hawkers Double West Coast IPA

◎ Appearance

Pale golden in color with excellent clarity and a bright, sustained head. The beer displays crisp carbonation and tight lacing that clings to the glass throughout the drinking experience.

◌ Aroma

Pine resin and grapefruit dominate the nose, displaying the characteristic Edelhopfen profile of West Coast tradition. Behind these lie bright orange zest and a delicate floral dimension, while a lean caramel malt backbone remains restrained and in support.

◐ Taste

The palate opens with bold resinous and piney hop character, followed by a dry, assertive bitterness that carries through the mid-palate with intensity. Orange and a subtle caramel malt sweetness provide brief relief, but the lean grain bill ensures the hop bitterness commands the entire experience.

◑ Finish

Long and thoroughly dry, with persistent resin and pine notes fading gradually. Alcohol warmth emerges only late in the finish, leaving a clean, bitter-forward aftertaste that lingers without harshness.

Serve at 8–11°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.
