Schreckenskammer Kölsch
Spicy and herb-bitter, malty at the core, with a light hay note in the nose: Schreckenskammer Kölsch is the house beer of one of Cologne's oldest brewhouses, first documented in 1442. It is top-fermented to the house recipe and filled without added carbon dioxide. Because space at the site is tight, it is brewed under contract (Lohnsud). At the brewhouse opposite St. Ursula it is served fresh from the cask.
