◌ Aroma

Fresh dark roasted coffee dominates immediately, backed by vanilla and char from eighteen months in bourbon oak. Beneath the coffee prominence lie hints of dark cocoa, leather, and dried stone fruit. The alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated, adding depth rather than sharpness to the bouquet.

◐ Taste

The palate opens with rich coffee and roasted grain, balanced by subtle sweetness from the oatmeal and residual sugars. Mid-palate development reveals layered complexity: dark chocolate, soft oak tannins, and a whisper of plum and fig. Bitterness remains measured at 65 IBU, finishing the coffee notes without overwhelming the barrel character.
