Zötler Gold

Tap to rate

Zötler Gold is the brewery's flagship, an Export of the kind that holds the place in the Allgäu that Helles has in Upper Bavaria and Pils in the north. It pours golden yellow and bright under a very fine-pored head. The nose is finely spicy and malty; on the palate the same delicate malt notes lead before a restrained bitterness takes over. Brewed to an original gravity of 12.5 % with 20 bitterness units, it stays on the malty, rounded side.
