FUZEnáč 13

Tap to rate

Amber in colour, with a strong smoky aroma, a full malty, smoked flavour and a balanced bitterness. Brewmaster Aleš Paik deliberately gave this semi-dark, bottom-fermented beer a pronounced character to spark curiosity. It is brewed at 13° original gravity in FUZE's glass brewhouse in the Masaryčka building in Prague and stays unfiltered and unpasteurised.

◌ Aroma

The nose is immediately dominated by pronounced smoke—a dense, earthy rauchbier signature that sits prominently above subtle background notes. Beneath the smoke, caramel-tinged Malz emerges softly, complemented by faint roasted grain nuances. The unfiltered character adds a clean, grainy dimension that prevents the smoke from becoming one-dimensional.

◐ Taste

The palate opens with assertive smoke flavor layered seamlessly over a full-bodied Malz sweetness that builds through the mid-palate. Roasted undertones contribute subtle depth, while a balanced bitterness emerges at mid-point, keeping the beer structured rather than cloying. The finish transitions from malty richness into a dry, smoky fade that remains crisp and clean throughout.
