🌍 United States · German Pilsner · One of 279 German Pilsners in hopIQ

Peer Review is a German-style pilsner and the final version of a series of trial batches on the Bottle Logic pilot system. It is built entirely from German ingredients, hopped with Tettnang, Mittelfrüh and Magnum and naturally carbonated in the tank. The beer pours pale straw-gold and brilliantly clear. A spicy, floral hop nose leads with a hint of honeysuckle, and the palate balances soft white-bread malt sweetness against lemon zest and a peppery, herbal bitterness. The finish is dry and crisp.

How to get the most out of Peer Review

Serve at 4–7°C
Refrigerate, then rest 2 min

Serve well-chilled at 4–6°C for maximum crispness. A pilsner served too warm loses its defining snap.

Recommended for this style

The tall, narrow pilsner glass preserves carbonation and showcases the golden clarity that defines the style.

Drink fresh and cold. Pilsners do not improve with age — within 3 months of packaging is ideal.
