This brooding Hessian creation pours a deep, opaque black with a thin mocha-tinted collar. The aroma opens with rich waves of dark chocolate, roasted coffee, and charred oak, underpinned by warm vanilla and caramel drawn from the bourbon wood. On the palate, bittersweet cocoa, dried dark fruit, and toasted malt unfold with an impressive creamy body. The finish is long, smoky, and gently sweet, leaving lingering notes of toffee and espresso.
