Rebel Nealko

Tap to rate

An alcohol-free pale lager with a golden colour, a rich head, pronounced bitterness and a fresh hop aroma. A balanced mix of pale and Bavarian malt meets the best Žatec hop varieties. At the České pivo 2024 tasting competition it placed third among the unflavoured non-alcoholic beers, as it had at Žatecká Dočesná in 2018.

◐ Taste

The palate opens with a clean, hoppy entry that quickly develops into sustained bitterness—well-defined and assertive without harshness. The malt backbone, built from pale and Bavarian varieties, provides a light sweetness and subtle bready notes that balance the bitter charge. Mid-palate remains crisp and refreshing, with a dry character that invites continued sipping rather than lingering fullness.

The finish is dry and quick, with the bitter notes fading cleanly into a light, pleasant aftertaste. No harsh alcohol burn or cloying sweetness remains—instead, a sense of refreshment and clarity dominates the close.
