Bennator Schottenbock

Tap to rate

Mildly peaty and harmoniously malty aromas define this strong vintage bock, which matured six months in an original Scotch cask from the Isle of Islay. Brewed by hand as a limited craft edition and offered as a Christmas special, it carries 16.5% original gravity and 6.9% ABV, ideally at 10–15 °C. Master brewer Bernd Heitmann sees craft beer in Meißen as unusual handcrafted ideas, here the long maturation in wood.
