The nose is immediately expressive with classic Belgian yeast character featuring prominent banana and clove notes. Underneath lies a subtle malty foundation with hints of caramel and dark fruit, while gentle spice notes provide complexity. The aroma is warm and inviting without being aggressive, showcasing the brewer's elegant use of phenolic compounds.

The palate opens with substantial malt sweetness balanced by subtle noble hop bitterness (22 IBU). Mid-palate reveals layered notes of dark cherry, pepper, and bread-like maltiness with a full body that coats the mouth luxuriously.
