Delirium Tremens pours a brilliant golden yellow with excellent clarity and a bright, white head that demonstrates impressive retention. The carbonation is visibly lively, creating a dense, creamy foam that clings elegantly to the glass walls.

◌ Aroma

The nose is intensely aromatic with prominent fruity esters—ripe pears, apricots, and subtle citrus notes lead the charge. Belgian yeast character shines through with spicy, peppery undertones and delicate floral notes, while a gentle herbal quality rounds out the complex bouquet.

◐ Taste

The palate opens with a smooth, malty sweetness balanced by assertive hop bitterness and a notable alcohol warmth. The mid-palate reveals layers of citrus, stone fruit, and peppery spice notes, with the yeast contributing a clean, crisp character that prevents the beer from becoming cloying despite its strength.

◑ Finish

The finish is long and dry with lingering citrus and herbal notes that persist cleanly on the palate. The alcohol warmth extends gracefully, leaving a pleasant bitter-spice aftertaste without harshness.

Serve at 9–12°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.

The wide mouth and heavy base promote head formation and channel rich aromatics toward the nose. Traditional for Belgian strong ales.
