Woods & Waters

Tap to rate

Melon, pineapple and pink grapefruit lead the aroma, with notes of onion, garlic and subtle pine and a faint malt grain sweetness. Simcoe, Mosaic, Columbus and Idaho 7 hops meet Blue Ox pale, wheat and Vienna malts in this 6.2% IPA. The name comes from Katahdin Woods and Waters, the first International Dark Sky Place certified in Maine, where an event called Stars Over Katahdin pairs campfire chats with telescopes.

◌ Aroma

The nose opens with vibrant citrus—ripe melon, pineapple, and pink grapefruit dominate the top notes. Beneath these, subtle onion and garlic aromatics emerge alongside a whisper of pine and herbal undertones, grounded by faint malt grain sweetness that prevents the hop character from becoming one-dimensional.
