Mosaic Pale

Tap to rate

Tropical aromas and flavours lead this single-hop Mosaic pale ale, with a citrusy lift behind them. A simple malt bill of Church Farm malt with oats and wheat dextrin malt lets the hop show and builds the head retention the brewery is proud of. It is brewed in July only, at 4.8 %, in the flint barn at Church Farm in the South Downs.

◐ Taste

Entry is crisp and refreshing, with tropical and citrus flavors translating seamlessly from the nose. Mid-palate remains light and balanced, with moderate bitterness (35 IBU) providing structure without dominating. The oats and wheat dextrin create a subtle creaminess that softens the finish without muddying the clean, hoppy profile.

◑ Finish

The finish is dry and comparatively brief, allowing the citrus notes to fade cleanly. A residual hoppy dryness lingers on the palate without becoming astringent.

Serve at 7–10°C

Cold enough to sharpen the hop aroma without numbing the palate. Around 7–9°C keeps the citrus and pine vivid without losing bitterness definition.

Pint glass

The classic — versatile, comfortable to hold and keeps the beer cool. No frills, no distractions: just the beer.

Drink fresh — hop aroma fades fast. Best within 3 months of canning or bottling.
