Golden Tipple

Tap to rate

Brewed with Tipple barley from the farm, this was Long Man's first seasonal beer when it launched in 2013: hoppy, with orange and tangerine on the nose, lime and pineapple in the aroma, and citrus and lemon on the palate. Chinook and Amarillo are the hops, Church Farm pale malt and Caragold the malts, and it returns each August.

◐ Taste

The palate entry is clean and crisp, with citrus and lemon notes immediately apparent. Mid-palate reveals a well-balanced bitterness from the Edelhopfen that complements rather than dominates, while the Church Farm pale malt provides a light, dry base. The finish is refreshing without any harsh edges, maintaining the citrus character throughout.
