Linzer Original

Tap to rate

Light straw yellow with a grassy hop bloom, balanced in taste. It leaves a pleasant bitterness in the finish and is full-bodied and feinherb. The brewery says the Linz plant could not cover the demand for it, so since the restart in 2017 the Original has been brewed at Brauerei Zipf in Upper Austria.

The palate enters soft and slightly sweet, with gentle malt roundness developing across the mid-palate. A measured bitterness emerges mid-sip without dominating, building toward a pleasant dry finish. The full-bodied nature is evident despite the low ABV, with a feinherb character that balances sweetness and hop bitterness in equal measure.
