Belgium·Oud Bruin
Tap to rate

Born as IJzerenband, named for the iron hoops on its barrels, it received a champagne cork when it became Goudenband. This reddish-brown, mixed-fermentation beer rests 4 to 12 months. Light sour aromas of caramel, apple, rhubarb and cherry lead; the palate brings apple, cherry, woody notes and light caramelised malt, then nuts and dried raisins in the finish. 8% ABV, made for the cellar.
