◎ Appearance

Pale golden hue with excellent clarity and fine carbonation visible as a steady stream of bubbles. The head forms quickly and maintains solid retention with delicate lacing that clings to the glass walls. Light body and brightness suggest a well-attenuated fermentation.

◌ Aroma

Bright citrus notes dominate the nose, with pronounced grapefruit and orange zest emerging from the Simcoe dry-hop charge. Beneath the citrus lies a floral character with subtle herbal undertones and a faint white pepper spice. Minimal malt presence allows the hop aromatics to shine without obstruction.

◐ Taste

Entry is crisp and clean with immediate hop bitterness that builds through the mid-palate. The 69 IBU load is aggressive for the 5% ABV, creating an assertive, dry character with lingering orange and citrus flavors that coat the tongue. Underlying malt support is restrained, allowing hop character to remain the focal point.

◑ Finish

The finish is notably dry and crisp, with a lingering hoppy bitterness that extends well into the aftertaste. Citrus notes fade gradually, leaving behind a pleasantly bitter, resinous impression.

Serve well-chilled. Session IPAs are at their best cold — the lower ABV means less warmth to balance the hops.

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.
