◌ Aroma

Prominent smoke character dominates the nose, lending a subtle campfire and charred wood quality that frames rather than overwhelms. Beneath the smoke lie generous malty notes with hints of caramel, toffee, and a gentle dark fruit undertone reminiscent of dried plum. A faint alcohol warmth emerges on prolonged nosing, typical of the 8% ABV.

◐ Taste

The palate opens with a full-bodied, smooth entry where smoke and rich malt flavors interweave seamlessly. Mid-palate brings forward caramel sweetness balanced by the beer's moderate 35 IBU bitterness, while dark fruit notes add complexity and depth. The alcohol warmth is noticeable but well-controlled, supporting rather than dominating the overall flavor profile.

◑ Finish

A long, drying finish emerges as smoke and lingering bitterness take the lead, with caramel sweetness gradually receding. The aftertaste leaves pleasant charred notes on the palate that persist comfortably for several minutes.
