Twisted Spire
Twisted Spire is the lightest of the Hobsons golden ales, named after the crooked church spire of Cleobury Mortimer. Hersbrucker, Fuggles and First Gold hops over Maris Otter malt give an upfront hop flavour with citrus aromas and a grassy, lightly spicy edge. The blond beer is light-bodied and quenching, with a crisp bitterness that lingers into a dry finish. It is the one bottled Hobsons ale that is not bottle-conditioned.
