Shropstar
Shropstar was first brewed in 2019 as a seasonal release and proved popular enough to stay in the permanent bottled range. The straw-coloured pale ale uses Maris Otter and wheat malt with Mandarina Bavaria, Hüll Melon and Hersbrucker hops. The aroma is fresh, with citrus, mandarin and a delicate floral note; the palate brings sweet citrus and plenty of hop flavour without much bitterness. A light, fruity aftertaste follows the crisp finish. It is bottle-conditioned.

hopIQ matches by flavor profile — not just style label. A beer with the same citrusy, hoppy, orange character as Shropstar will score highly even if brewed in a different country or under a different sub-style name.
