Gilden Kölsch
Subtly spicy and light on hops: Gilden Kölsch is made from water, barley malt, wheat malt and hops under the Reinheitsgebot, refined with yeast. Its name goes back to Cologne's Gildenhaus opposite the town hall, where the story begins in the 13th century. In Low German, "gilden" also stands for a drinking bout, and in 1869 the house became home and namesake of the Kölsch.
