Frankfurter Helles

Tap to rate

Lightly bitter and only gently hopped, this bottom-fermented Helles is kept light, with reduced alcohol of 4.2% ABV and 9.3 °P original gravity. Its traditional recipe originates in eastern Germany, and the Frankfurter Brauhaus introduced it as a new addition to the Frankfurter range in early 2020. Brewed in Frankfurt (Oder), where Carthusian monks refined brewing as early as 1396 and the Oderland brewery restarted the tradition in 1988.
