◎ Appearance

Pale golden hue with excellent clarity and bright, lively carbonation throughout. A firm white head forms readily and clings to the glass with fine, delicate lacing as the beer is consumed. The light straw color speaks to the restrained Malz bill and the use of flaked rice as a base grain.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads decisively with resinous pine and bright citrus from the Simcoe and Azacca hops, backed by the herbal and floral character of Mosaic. Beneath lies a subtle tropical fruit suggestion—melon and stone fruit—while the Malz foundation remains deliberately understated, allowing the hop profile to command attention.

◐ Taste

The palate opens with clean, crisp hop bitterness that sits at a moderate level, never aggressive. The flaked rice base delivers a light, dry body that avoids any fullness, while a restrained touch of residual sweetness in the mid-palate provides balance and prevents harshness. The finish turns brisk and dry, with lingering pine and citrus notes.

Clean and quick-fading, the finish leaves behind a dry hop impression without astringency. The aftertaste trails toward citrus and herbal pine, keeping the palate refreshed and inviting another sip.

Serve well-chilled. Session IPAs are at their best cold — the lower ABV means less warmth to balance the hops.

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.
