Diamond Bear Two Term presents a pale golden hue with excellent clarity and a bright, translucent quality typical of the style. The head is substantial and persistent, clinging to the glass in defined rings of lacing as the beer is consumed. Carbonation is brisk and well-integrated, creating fine bubbles that sustain the visual presentation throughout.

◌ Aroma

The nose is assertively hoppy, dominated by resinous pine and citrus notes that leap from the glass with intensity. Beneath the hop character lies a measured malt backbone—clean and slightly grainy—that provides ballast without competing for attention. There is no yeast-driven funk or esters; the aroma remains dry and forward-facing, inviting further exploration.

◐ Taste

The palate opens with a hop-bitter entry that wastes no time establishing the beer's imperial credentials, with 95 IBU delivering a sustained, dry bite that coats the mouth. Mid-palate reveals citrus and piney flavors working in tandem with a modest malty sweetness that prevents one-dimensionality but never threatens to soften the dry finish. The beer remains crisp and uncompromising throughout, resisting any temptation toward residual sugar or warmth despite its 8.5% ABV.
