Strawberry Hells
Camden's summer seasonal: the house Hells brewed with fresh strawberry purée. The fruit stays in the background, so the beer keeps the crisp character and the 4.6% of its base and gains a gentle berry note with a tart edge. Perle and Huell Melon hops, Pilsner and wheat malt and a Bavarian lager yeast make up the recipe. Founder Jasper Cuppaidge was laughed at when he first proposed a pink fruit lager. Despite the old byname Strawberry Hells Forever, the 440 ml cans appear in summer only.
